As a non-profit entity, we rely on the generosity of donors like you to fund our activities and initiatives. Please read our refund policy carefully before making a donation.
1. Donations Are Non-Refundable
All donations made through our website https://ciss.org.in are voluntary and non-refundable. Once a donation is made, it will not be refunded, returned, or cancelled, except in specific cases of genuine error or unauthorized transaction (see below).
2. Refunds in Exceptional Circumstances
We may consider a refund only under the following limited circumstances:
- A duplicate donation made by mistake
- A donation made in error with an incorrect amount
- A fraudulent or unauthorized transaction (e.g., your card was used without your permission)
If you believe one of the above conditions applies, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email us using our contact information page with the following details:
- Full name of the donor
- Date of donation
- Amount donated
- Transaction ID / Reference Number
- Reason for the refund request
We may ask for additional information to verify the request.
4. Refund Processing
If your refund request is approved, it will be processed using the same payment method used for the original donation. Please allow 7–10 working days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer.
5. Third-Party Payment Gateways
All online donations are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. We do not store your credit/debit card or banking details on our servers.
Refunds will be subject to the policies and timelines of the respective payment gateway.
6. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
